Jade Palace has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant since 1980! I went to enjoy my favorite egg rolls last month! The egg rolls are still delicious, but someone has messed with the orange/red sauce used to dip them in! Watered down! Please do not mess with the sauce! I'm going back today with my daughter today. If the sauce has still been watered down, then sadly, I won't be back. My stars will go down on the rating . BRING BACK THE SAUCE!

Don't physically eat IN the restaurant. Honestly, it's been years (I think the last time we ordered eggrolls was in December of 2016) since I've been here, but the last time I was, the fish tank was gross, the tables were sticky and the chairs were falling apart.
BUT....BUT!!! Their eggrolls are FABULOUS. HUGE, NY style egg rolls with pork AND shrimp. I still crave them.
Call in, order a dozen eggrolls. Try not to look too deep inside when you come in to pick them up. -

Good food for pick up. The restaurant has old gross carpet which is disgusting and the staff are not friendly.

Been eating here since day one. Don't go as often because a lot of my favorite dishes are off the menu now. Pressed duck was one of my favorites in the day, liked it much more than the chicken. But the chicken is still a go to dish. Love that gravy. The won ton soup is best in Houston, but I miss the Boc Chow they use to put in it. They use to use lots of vegetables in their fried rice which is still really good but the addition of the vegetables made a gastronomic delight. But the thing I miss most is the butterfly shrimp. Ken had a monopoly on this dish no one else served it anywhere around. By far my most favorite dish. Please Ken bring this dish back and the parking lot will be full again. We want BUTTERFLY SHRIMP!!!!!!

This restaurant was the most disgusting Chinese restaurant that we have ever been to. It was recommended by a coworker of my husband. We ordered the egg rolls, crab Rangoon, Beef with vegetables and General Tso's chicken. The egg rolls were decent and the crab Rangoon was adequate. My husband said the Beef with vegetables tasted like they used a packet of brown gravy mix. It looked so unappetizing, I couldn't even bring myself to try it. That wasn't the worst of it. My General Tso's chicken was literally not edible. The chicken looked like it was some other type of meat and tasted spoiled. This is no exaggeration. I had to spit out the food into a napkin. The bathroom also had toilet paper on the floor, and it smelled like sewage. The restaurant was also very dirty looking. My husband and I definitely will not be back. Most of the time, I give decent reviews on yelp, but there is really nothing redeeming about this place. I'm very tempted to call the health department on this restaurant, as they don't seem to care much about the quality of the food they are serving, and I was fearful that we would become ill after eating there. Let me say that I am not hesitant to eat at holes in the wall, food trucks, and other types of establishments similar to the ones I just mentioned. Please do not go to this restaurant, you will be very disappointed and you will have wasted your money. Hopefully, one of the owners sees this review and makes some serious changes.
